Customer Project Engineer - Zurich
To strengthen our team we are looking for a new Customer Project Engineer (CPE) (Projektmitarbeiter / Kunden Systemadministrator).
As a Customer Project Engineer you are always at the forefront of technology and updated with latest developments within the industry. You work very close with developers and customers and you are the interface between these two parties.
At Nexus Telecom you will find a young dynamic working team environment and challenging tasks. Your office base will be in the Zurich area, Switzerland.
Tasks: On-Site Work (40%)
- Planning and implementations of complex Performance Management systems at worldwide customer locations.
- System acceptance testing
- Providing User Training
Tasks: In-House (60%)
- Providing Remote Operational Customer System Support
- Product expertise assistance to sales managers and colleagues
- Release and new feature Testing
Your skills:
- Practical experience with wireline and wireless telecommunications networks, computer networks
- Deployment experience
- Unix or Linux - System Administrator experience
- Basic script writing (UNIX Shell) experience
- Bachelor or Master Degree in IT, Telecommunications or Engineering.
- English is a must, German knowledge advantageous and all other languages are a bonus.
Nice to have:
- PostgreSQL, ORACLE or DBA experience
